Technical Anti-Frizz Treatment with Glyoxylic Acid

Additive-X TRE is a technical treatment formulated with glyoxylic acid for use on all hair types, including previously treated hair. Designed for frizzy, curly, wavy, and voluminous hair, it helps provide a smoother, more controlled, and manageable finish without altering the hair’s internal structure.

Additive-X TRE is used as part of Avyna’s complete Anti-Frizz Treatment, together with Additive-X ZERO, Additive-X UNO, Additive-X DUE, Stabilizzatore, Finale X, and Fluido di Goji.

Anti-Frizz Treatment Process

1. Preparation

1. Wash the hair twice with Additive-X ZERO.
2. Using a blow-dryer, remove approximately 70% of the hair’s moisture.
3. Smooth the hair with the blow-dryer and flat iron.
4. Divide the hair into 4 sections.

2. Application

1. Working in 1.5 cm sections, prepare 50 ml Additive-X TRE + 7 ml Additive-X UNO.
2. Apply the mixture to each section, beginning approximately 1 cm away from the scalp.
3. Leave the cream to process for 30 minutes.
4. Rinse thoroughly. Do not shampoo.
5. Apply with Additive-X DUE for a few minutes and rinse.

3. Smoothing

1. Smooth the hair with a blow-dryer, keeping the dryer from resting directly against the hair.
2. Working in 1.5 cm sections, pass the flat iron 7 times at 374–428°F (190–220°C).
3. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.

4. Sealing

1. Apply Stabilizzatore, leave on for 3 minutes, then rinse.
2. Spray Finale X throughout the hair and smooth with a blow-dryer.
3. Working in 1.5 cm sections, flat iron at 374–428°F (190–220°C).
4. Finish and seal with Fluido di Goji.

5. Maintenance

• Do not wash the hair for 72 hours after the service.
• Maintain the results at home with the Goji line.

Formula highlights:

Formulated with Glyoxylic Acid, Glycerin, Panthenol, and Lycium Barbarum (Goji Berry) Fruit Extract. The formula also contains conditioning agents designed to support smoothness and manageability throughout the anti-frizz service.
